Getting to know the community. Some of these images were taken from the observation deck of Los Angeles City Hall. The Triforium is a 60-foot high, 60-ton concrete public art sculpture mounted with Venetian glass prisms, light bulbs located at the intersection of Temple and Main Streets in downtown Los Angeles. The Disney Concert Hall is spectacular on the outside. Designed by Frank Gehry. There are many beautiful buildings and monuments scattered over 500 square miles. Sometimes they are right under your feet. I remind people to look up as well as down. The flags I found by looking up at City Hall. LA City hall was also used in the 1950’s “The Adventures of Superman” tv series.
